There are lots of folks having problems with IPV6 with Yosemite and Internet networking. I found one thread where digi support said this issue can be caused by corrupted fonts.
I did some searching in DUC but not sure what to search for really. "The server at can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed."īut it sounds like reinstalling 8.0.5 won't fix this issue anyway.

Thanks for the info, that page you linked to works but the download dialog box never appears when i click on any of the links. Actually never use the Avid download manager, it is unneeded mess that causes more problems than it solves. If you are having problems, do *NOT* use the Avid download manager (to start with it requires Java which is disabled in Safari by default) read the dialog box carefully and click on the "*click here* to download the file without using the download manager" link when the doanload dialog box appears. then reinstall the past version of OS X and your apps again. If you can't live with it then just roll back to the image backup you made before upgrading to Yosemite, or if you didn't make a backup. Reported by other people as well, search DUC, it's a bug.
